Eólica Festival (Granadilla de Abona, Spain) 2026

Eolica returns to the ITER renewable energy institute in Granadilla de Abona on 16 and 17 October 2026, running two days of electronic music among the wind turbines and solar arrays of southern Tenerife. The festival bills itself as an international festival of renewable energy as much as a music event, and the site, the Instituto Tecnologico de Energias Renovables, is a working research campus rather than a hired field.

The 2026 bill runs to 68 artists. The Friday brings Hunee, Jayda G, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Horse Meat Disco, TSHA, Rainer Truby and Dee Diggs alongside Xoel Lopez, Paurro, Shego and a long list of Canarian DJs. The Saturday is heavier: Ame live, WhoMadeWho in a hybrid DJ set, Danilo Plessow as Motor City Drum Ensemble, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Victor Ruiz, Biggi Veira playing a GusGus DJ set, Paula Tape, Fernanda Arrau and Vive la Fete.

Around the music the programme runs workshops, guided visits of the institute, exhibitions, recycled art, talks and documentary screenings, which is where the sustainability framing stops being marketing. Tickets are sold through Paylogic. The ITER site sits near Tenerife South airport, around 20 minutes from the resorts of Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos. It is the Canary Islands music festival with the most unusual premise.
