About Razzmatazz
Razzmatazz opened on 14 December 2000 with a concert by The Flaming Lips, taking its name from the Pulp song. It fills two former factories in Poblenou, an engine plant and a large textile works that were converted in the late 1980s and first housed the Sala Zeleste music hall. Inside, a maze of stairs and passages links five independent rooms, and since The Loft and Lolita (rooms 2 and 3) joined the main building in 2003, one ticket covers all five.
Concerts fill the rooms in the evenings, and club brands take over at night: El Dirty on Wednesdays, Mandanga on Thursdays and RazzClub at the weekend, which groups Fuego on Fridays, with rap, dembow, afrobeats and UK garage, and Human on Saturdays, with techno, house and electro. Torax, launched in 2022, brings techno to selected Sundays, and Common People plays pop and indie on some Sunday afternoons. DJ Mag listed Razzmatazz in its Top 100 Clubs every year from 2016 to 2024.
