About Chinois

Chinois is a club in Marina Botafoch, Ibiza Town, set inside the five-star Ibiza Gran Hotel on Passeig Joan Carles I. It opened on 17 June 2022 on the former site of HEART Ibiza and is run by Island Hospitality, the group behind Park Chinois in London, whose portfolio also includes Beachouse, Mikasa and Finca La Plaza on the island. The 3,000 square metre venue was designed by Paris studio Laleh Assefi, with interiors inspired by the jazz clubs of 1920s Shanghai.

Chinois calls itself the Sonic Temple of Ibiza and presents itself as a dancefloor-first alternative to the island's superclubs, with a capacity of around 1,000. Each night of the week has its own residency. In 2026 Defected moved its Ibiza Thursdays here for 23 weeks from 7 May to 8 October, alongside Claptone's The Masquerade, Bedouin presents SAGA, Mahmut Orhan, Major League DJz, La Troya, Trip and Appetite, mostly house, melodic and Afro-leaning sounds.
