Chateau Perche (TBA (castle location announced later), France) 2027

Chateau Perche returns from 8 to 12 July 2027 under the title La Cour Des Miracles, five consecutive days in a single session rather than the split weekends the festival has used in other years. The castle hosting the 2027 edition had not been named at the time of writing, which is normal for the event: the location is revealed closer to the dates and has moved around the French countryside since the festival started.

The format is costume driven and deliberately theatrical. Attendees are expected to dress for the theme, the chateau and its grounds are dressed in turn, and the programme mixes house, techno and live acts with performance, installation work and daytime activities. Past editions have been staged at sites including Avrilly, each time building a temporary village around the building for the duration.

The festival has built a following on that combination of setting and participation, which puts it closer to the small French boutique circuit than to the large open air events, despite running for the best part of a week. Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site and the community organises around a Discord server. Announcements of the location and the lineup follow the ticket release. Other French dates sit on our music festival page.
