About Chamonix Unlimited Festival
The Unlimited Festival returns to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc from 25 to 29 March 2027, five days in the valley under the highest mountain in western Europe. The organisers also run a second edition at Tignes from 24 April to 2 May 2027, which closes the French season.
Chamonix is not a purpose built resort, which is the difference: the festival runs in a working alpine town with its own year round population, bars and mountaineering history rather than in a complex built for skiing. The Aiguille du Midi cable car and the Mer de Glace are both part of a day there.
Details and tickets are published through the festival’s own site in French and English. Geneva is an hour and a quarter by transfer, which makes Chamonix one of the most accessible alpine destinations in Europe. Late March in the valley gives spring snow high up and warm afternoons in town. For a French alpine music festival, Unlimited has the best mountain backdrop in the business.
