Cascade Equinox Festival (Redmond, OR, United States) 2027

Cascade Equinox returns to Redmond in central Oregon from 17 to 19 September 2027, running three days of music and art in the high desert east of the Cascade Range. The festival takes its name from its timing, landing on the autumn equinox weekend, and has grown quickly since its first edition in 2023 into one of the larger independent events in the Pacific Northwest.

The programming is broad for an electronic leaning festival, mixing bass music, live electronic acts and jam bands across several stages, with the organisers publishing a trailer and a recap film after each edition. The 2025 trailer and recap on the festival’s own channel give a clear read on scale: multiple large stages, art installations and a camping population that treats the weekend as the close of the western summer.

Camping is part of the format and tickets are sold through the official site in tiered releases. Redmond sits in Deschutes County at around 900 metres, with its own airport, Roberts Field, served by direct flights from several western cities, and Bend 20 minutes to the south. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For central Oregon in September, it is the camping music festival that closes the season.
