About UNDERCITY
UNDERCITY is a basement club in Seongsu, Seoul, between Seongsu and Konkuk University stations, run by the company Undercity Culture. The club says it opened in May 2025 as an urban hideaway in north Seongsu. The single open floor covers 292 square metres and holds up to 400 people, with a main stage, bar and table areas, brutalist design, minimal lighting and stainless steel finishes. Sound comes from a d&b audiotechnik system with a Pioneer V10 mixer. The programme is rooted in techno, with melodic and progressive house as its core direction, and its signature CORE series is dedicated to raw, hypnotic techno. Artists featured on the club's site include Ben Klock, Wata Igarashi and Bart Skils, alongside Korean underground DJs. House rules ask for no photos, no videos and no chit-chat on the floor.
