About Soap Seoul

Soap Seoul is an underground club in Itaewon that books local and overseas DJs. It was housed at 132-3 Itaewon until it stopped operating there in 2021, then continued as a roving party, and reopened in a new venue at 217 Itaewon-ro in the Yongsan district on 26 February 2026 with an opening week featuring 6Seoul, FS Green, Ajuchan and BRLLNT. The club's signature blue light was installed in the new room. Its music leans to deep, groovy and minimal house rather than heavy techno, played on a strong sound system. Beyond the dance floor, Soap launched the Soap Seoul Store clothing and merchandise line in 2019 and the label Soap Records in 2020, and it was the first Korean nightclub to become an official Apple Music curator.
