About Top Hill

Top Hill is an open-air nightclub on Topliš hill above Budva, on the central coast of Montenegro, about 2 km from the town centre. It opened on 8 July 2010 and hosted the Refresh Festival in its first summer. The club holds around 5,000 people. A large dancefloor faces a circular stage backdrop modelled on the Qlimax festival stage, and tiered VIP areas curve around it, giving the venue an amphitheatre layout. There are several themed bars, including vodka, wine, Cohiba and jacuzzi bars, a VIP area for 600 guests and a large car park. Sound comes from a 120 kW Martin Audio system, backed by lasers, LED screens and CO2 and fire effects.

Top Hill opens only for the summer, mainly in July and August. Its programme mixes international DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Fedde Le Grand, David Morales, Claptone and Kurd Maverick with concerts by Balkan stars including Zdravko Čolić, Lepa Brena and Dino Merlin. The club won Best Night Club Global 2012 at the Monaco International Clubbing Show.
