About Stereorocks

Stereorocks is an electronic music club in the upper room of Kafe Antzokia at Done Bikendi 2 in central Bilbao. Kafe Antzokia is a cultural centre opened in December 1995 by the Zenbat Gara association in a building that was once the cinema of the San Vicente church in Abando, and it is one of the city's main live music stages. Stereorocks started there in 2013 as a Kafe Antzokia project. It runs every Friday from September to June, usually from 01:00 to 06:00, with techno, house and disco from local and international guests playing live or DJ sets. Past guests named by the club include Jackmaster, Erol Alkan, Avalon Emerson, Lena Willikens, Leon Vynehall, Legowelt and Eduardo de la Calle. The club points to its small size and the closeness between artists and crowd.
