About Papagayo Tenerife

Papagayo Tenerife is a beachfront club on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina in Playa de las Américas, in the south of Tenerife. It began as Papagayo Beach Club and grew into one of the island's best known nightclubs. After a renovation that added bar space, a larger entrance, more toilets and upgraded sound and visuals, it reopened under the Papagayo Tenerife name on 8 March 2024.

The venue has a main open-air club with VIP, backstage and amphitheatre table areas, plus a second room, Sala El Nido, for Latin, reggaeton and hip-hop nights. On the same site is the AWA restaurant, serving Mediterranean fusion dinners. The weekly programme runs Wednesday to Sunday: Move On with hits and house, Follow with Afro house and Latin tech, La Loka on Fridays, Essence tech house on Saturdays and Piknik on Sundays. Papagayo was voted number 76 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2026.

18+ for club nights, and photo ID such as a passport should be carried. The general ticket is valid until 01:00; after that you pay the difference at the door, and Canary Islands residents' tickets are single entry with no re-entry.
