Sound-Bar is a large nightclub at 226 W Ontario Street in Chicago's River North, run by the Sound Bar Group. The club describes 20,000 square feet over two levels, with a 4,000 square foot dance floor, nine bars, four lounges, a VIP room, minimalist European-style decor, lasers and floor-to-ceiling video projection walls. The main room books touring DJs most Fridays and Saturdays, from house and trance to big-room EDM and bass: autumn 2026 dates include Cat Dealers, Goddard, Modestep, Ferry Corsten, Eelke Kleijn live and Bassjackers. The lower level runs resident DJs with Top 40, hip hop and R&B on the same nights. Sound-Bar is strictly 21+, opens Friday from 22:00 to 04:00 and Saturday from 22:00 to 05:00, and sells table and bottle service packages.
