About Slaktkyrkan
Slaktkyrkan is a concert and club venue at Styckmästargatan 10 in Slakthusområdet, the former slaughterhouse district in southern Stockholm that is being redeveloped as Söderstaden. It occupies Hus 8, once used for gut cleaning and manure handling, which the City of Stockholm restored to architect Gustaf Wickman's original drawings from more than a century ago and which is protected for its cultural value. A foyer bar leads into a high-ceilinged main room that holds 750 standing, or 150 seated for talks. The venue is run by Slakthusen, which also operates Hus 7 and other spaces in the area. Its programme mixes concerts with club nights, such as 420 with Lost Miracle (Sébastien Léger and Roy Rosenfeld) and a set from Olof Dreijer in October 2026.
