Sonar is Barcelona’s festival of music, innovation and creativity, organised by Advanced Music. Alongside the concerts and DJ sets, Sonar+D brings together talks, exhibitions and performances on the shared ground between art, technology and electronic music. It is one of the best known music festival brands in Europe and also stages editions in other cities under the Sonar around the world banner.

Sonar 2027 is confirmed for 17, 18 and 19 June 2027 in Barcelona. An exclusive presale opened on 22 June 2026 with SonarPass tickets at 155 euros and SonarPass+D at 170 euros, plus VIP versions at 270 and 295 euros. That presale has now closed, and the organisers say general ticket sales will begin after the summer of 2026. A flex option lets buyers cancel for a full refund until 1 March 2027.

The 2027 line-up and venue details have not been published. The 2026 edition used Fira Gran Via, but the official site does not yet state where 2027 will be held. Expect the usual split between daytime programming with Sonar+D content and the large night-time halls where techno, house and live electronic acts play until the early hours.
