About MUTE

MUTE Club de Mar is a beach club and open-air venue on Ruta 11 in the Alfar area, on the southern beaches of Mar del Plata, Argentina. It runs each Argentine summer, and the 2025/26 season, its 15th, ran from mid December 2025 to 20 February 2026. By day it works as a beach resort with pools, sun loungers, tents, a restaurant and free daily Sunset parties from 12:00 to 20:00; on show nights an open-air stage faces the sea.

Owner Matías Iriarte has said the site covers 18,000 square metres outdoors and that events usually hold about 20,000 people. The summer programme mixes house and techno headliners with branded parties: the 2026 season included Boris Brejcha, Pawsa, Chris Stussy, Elrow, an Amnesia night with Adam Beyer and Artbat. Past seasons brought Solomun, Camelphat and Music On. Payment inside is by the club's own Mute Pay app.
