About Elsewhere

Elsewhere is a multi-room music venue, nightclub and arts space at 599 Johnson Ave in Bushwick, Brooklyn. It was built inside a former industrial furniture assembly factory and opened on Halloween 2017, run by the team behind Glasslands, their earlier venue in Williamsburg. Three stories hold The Hall, the largest stage, used for touring artists and club nights; Zone One, a smaller room for emerging acts; The Loft, a second-floor lounge bar with Funktion-One sound; the Chatroom event space; and an open-air rooftop that opens every May for the summer. The venue says it stages more than 600 events a year, mixing live concerts with late-night DJ parties, and it hosted the 2018 ceremony that repealed New York City's Cabaret Law. It has appeared in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs poll four times.

Age limits run from 16+ to 21+ depending on the event. Everyone needs a valid scannable US government photo ID, and international visitors must bring a valid passport, as other foreign IDs are not accepted. Bags are inspected on arrival and there is no re-entry.
