Hosted at the visionary new venue [UNVRS] (pronounced Universe), this 18-week residency isn’t just another party series — it’s an odyssey through sound, color, and surreal imagination. From large-scale art installations and futuristic performances to a lineup of world-class DJs, elrow at [UNVRS] merges chaos and creativity into a multiverse where reality bends and wonder takes center stage.

elrow 2.0 Transforms Ibiza Nightlife With [UNVRS] Opening Weekend

The electronic music scene in Ibiza reached a new milestone this past Saturday as elrow debuted their 2.0 experience at [UNVRS], marking the start of an ambitious 18-week residency that runs until October 4th. The sold-out opening night on June 8, 2025, introduced thousands of party-goers to “Nowmads: New World“, a themed experience that combines electronic music with large-scale art installations and live performances.

This wasn’t just another club opening in Ibiza. The event signaled a shift in how electronic music events can integrate technology, visual art, and performance into a single experience. elrow 2.0 represents the brand’s expansion beyond traditional festival formats, taking advantage of [UNVRS]‘s advanced infrastructure to create something that sits between a concert, art exhibition, and theatrical performance.

The [UNVRS] Venue: Yann Pissenem’s Latest Creation

[UNVRS] comes from the creative mind of Yann Pissenem, the entrepreneur behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza through his company The Night League. The venue combines the intimate service of a high-end club with the technical capabilities usually found in arena-sized venues. Built specifically for events that require complex production setups, [UNVRS] can completely reconfigure its interior for different themes and experiences.

The venue’s design philosophy centers on flexibility. Unlike traditional clubs with fixed layouts, [UNVRS] can transform its interior architecture, lighting systems, and sound zones to match the specific requirements of each event. This adaptability made it the perfect home for elrow‘s ambitious 2.0 concept.

Nowmads: New World Brings Fantasy to Life

The opening night showcased “Nowmads: New World“, a theme developed exclusively by elrow‘s internal creative team over six months. The production involved 15 art directors from 13 countries, more than 200 custom-made costumes, and over 100 performers who brought the fantasy world to life throughout the venue.

The theme transformed [UNVRS] into what attendees described as stepping into another dimension. Massive rotating wheels, sculptural installations that moved throughout the night, and performers dressed as futuristic beings created an environment where the line between audience and show disappeared. Rather than watching a performance, guests became part of the unfolding story.

“We’ve stayed true to our roots — the essence remains the same; to move people, to thrill them, and above all, to make sure they have a great time. The Music: Four DJs Create The Night’s Soundtrack

The opening night featured sets from Bastian Bux, Franky Rizardo, Kölsch, and Ilario Alicante, each bringing their distinct approach to electronic music. Bastian Bux started the evening with a tension-filled set that immediately energized the crowd. Franky Rizardo and Kölsch maintained the momentum with their signature deep house selections, creating moments that had the entire room moving as one.

Ilario Alicante closed the night with what many described as the evening’s standout performance. His set built to a crescendo that matched the intensity of the visual production surrounding him, creating a finale that left attendees talking about the experience long after leaving the venue.

The DJ lineup reflected elrow‘s approach to curating artists who understand how to work within heavily produced environments. These weren’t just individual performances, but pieces of a larger musical narrative that supported the “Nowmads: New World” story.

What Makes elrow 2.0 Different

Traditional elrow events are known for their themed parties and traveling festival concept. elrow 2.0 takes these elements and amplifies them through the technical capabilities of [UNVRS]. The result is what the founders call a “total sensory experience” that goes beyond what’s possible at outdoor festivals or conventional clubs.

The 18-Week Residency Program

elrow‘s residency at [UNVRS] features a different theme each Saturday until October. Beyond “Nowmads: New World“, the season includes “Hallucinarium“, created by renowned artists Alex and Allyson Grey, and “Neo Kaos Garden“, designed by Okuda San Miguel. A fourth theme remains undisclosed and will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Each theme requires its own custom production elements, costume designs, and performer choreography. This approach means no two nights at elrow 2.0 will look or feel the same, even though they share the same venue and basic format.

About The Organizations Behind elrow 2.0

elrow began in 2010 when brothers Cruz and Juan Arnau decided to create a new type of electronic music event. The brand belongs to the sixth generation of the Arnau family, whose previous projects include the Monegros Desert Festival and Club Florida 135 in Fraga. Since 2017, elrow has operated under Superstruct Entertainment, with backing from the Providence Equity Partners investment fund.

[UNVRS] represents the latest venture from The Night League, Yann Pissenem‘s company that also operates Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza. The company expanded internationally in 2024 with “Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience“, which attracted over 60,000 people across five events.

The opening of elrow 2.0 at [UNVRS] marks the beginning of what both organizations describe as a new chapter for electronic music entertainment.
