ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan to Play Baku Waterfront for F1 Weekend
FOMO Baku moves outdoors for Formula 1 weekend with a 2,500 capacity site on Baku Boulevard, ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan headlining 24 to 26 September.

FOMO Baku is taking its Formula 1 weekend programme outdoors for the first time. The club has confirmed APEX AFTER DARK OPEN AIR, a three night run on Baku Boulevard from 24 to 26 September, with ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan each headlining a night.
The site is purpose built for the weekend, holds 2,500 people and sits on the same stretch of Caspian waterfront the Baku City Circuit runs along. It is the first time FOMO has put on anything outside its own four walls since opening in late 2023, and the run is staged with Baku City Circuit and ticketing partner iTicket, which makes these the official Azerbaijan Grand Prix nights.

Three nights on the Boulevard
ANOTR open on Thursday 24 September with a sunset session. The Amsterdam duo have spent the past few years pulling rolling house towards disco, funk and soul, and their sets tend to work through all of it before dropping into deeper late night material. The light going down over the Caspian will do a fair amount of the work here.
Jamie Jones takes Friday 25 September, the night before the race. The Hot Creations founder arrives mid Ibiza season, with two decades of DC-10 history behind him and Paradise still the party his name is attached to. An open air floor with a few thousand visitors already in town suits the way he builds a set: rolling grooves, deep house, peak time records held back until they land properly.
Mahmut Orhan closes on Saturday 26 September, and the timing is the interesting part. The 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix was moved off its original Sunday slot to avoid Azerbaijan’s day of national mourning, so the race now finishes on Saturday and Orhan goes on within hours of the chequered flag. He headlined the closing night of FOMO’s 2025 Grand Prix weekend and returns to a much bigger stage.
We didn’t want to just throw a party for Grand Prix weekend, we wanted to give Baku something it’s never seen. APEX AFTER DARK takes everything FOMO has built inside the club and moves it out onto Baku Boulevard, right on the water’s edge, with ANOTR, Jamie Jones and Mahmut Orhan headlining three nights that’ll define the weekend. This is Baku stepping onto the map.

Tickets and details
Tickets for all three nights are on sale through iTicket: ANOTR on 24 September, Jamie Jones on 25 September and Mahmut Orhan on 26 September. The events are 18+ and go ahead in all weather.
Why this one is worth watching
Race weekends have become some of the most valuable dates on the touring calendar, and cities chasing that traffic no longer let it end in a hotel ballroom. The 2,500 capacity looks like the right call here: big enough to carry three bookings of this size, small enough that FOMO is not gambling on a market still building its club audience. The real test comes later, if the outdoor site returns for a weekend with no Formula 1 attached.
