WECANDANCE (Bruges, Belgium) 2027

WECANDANCE returns on 14 and 15 August 2027, running its two day format on the Belgian coast near Bruges. The festival has built its identity on design and styling as much as music, with themed zones, a strong fashion element in the crowd and a site laid out around the sea rather than a conventional arena, and it has become one of the most distinctive summer events in Flanders.

The music runs across house, techno and disco, with each zone carrying its own curation rather than a single main stage hierarchy. Official aftermovies going back to 2016 sit on the festival’s channel, usually split into multiple parts, and they are a fair reflection of the format: as much about the look of the site and the audience as about the bill itself.

Tickets are sold directly through the official site, with combination tickets, day tickets and hospitality options released in phases. Bruges is around 15 minutes from the coast by train and an hour from Brussels, with Brussels and Ostend the nearest airports. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For a styled, design led Belgian music festival, there is nothing quite like it.
