About Club Wintercircus

Club Wintercircus is an underground music club on the lowest floor of the renovated Wintercircus building complex in central Ghent. It sits close to De Vooruit and De Krook, and is run by the non-profit vzw Club Wintercircus, with concerts and nightlife programmed by Democrazy and VIERNULVIER. The single room holds 600, has a round layout with flexible floor and stage, and is built around immersive sound and image: an L-Acoustics L-ISA system with five front arrays, nine subs and more than twenty surround speakers, an 11-metre LED wall and 38 projection screens. DJs who have played include Joy Orbison, Aurora Halal, Vladimir Ivkovic, James Ruskin, Paranoid London and Mr. Scruff. Club nights such as Club Laat focus on young local talent, alongside concerts, talks and audiovisual shows like Max Cooper's 3D AV live set.
