VOID Festival (Slatina de Mures, Romania) 2027

VOID Festival holds its first edition at Lavandya in Slatina de Mures, Arad county, on 25 and 26 June 2027. The event is an outdoor drum and bass weekender in western Romania, pitched by its organisers as a platform for the genre in a country whose festival calendar is dominated by techno and mainstream pop.

Lavandya is a lavender farm in the hills north east of Arad, and the site is the point: two nights of bass music in open country rather than in a city venue, with the stage set among the fields. The organisers describe the programme as drum and bass with all styles welcome, which in practice means liquid, jump up, jungle and darker rollers sharing the same bill rather than a single sub genre.

ASAWAY was the first artist confirmed, releasing a warm up set through the festival’s own channel ahead of the full announcement. The rest of the lineup and the daily running order had not been published at the time of writing, with tickets handled directly through the festival site. Arad sits about 50 kilometres from the site and is the nearest city with rail and air connections, roughly an hour from Timisoara and under three hours by road from Budapest.
