About Up To Date Festival

Bialystok is in Podlaskie in the far north east of Poland, close to the Belarusian border and a long way from the Polish festival mainstream, which is exactly the position Up To Date has made its own: a city of 300,000 with its own electronic festival and a programme that does not look like anything in Warsaw.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site. Bialystok is two and a half hours from Warsaw by direct train, with Warsaw Chopin the practical arrival airport. Late May in Podlaskie is mild at around 19 degrees, with the Bialowieza forest two hours away for anyone extending the trip. For a Polish music festival outside the big cities, Up To Date is the one worth the journey.
