About Energy 2000 Katowice

Energy 2000 Katowice is a large club in the former Capitol cinema at Plebiscytowa 3 in central Katowice, about 400 metres from the Rynek and 500 metres from the main railway station. It opened in 2011 as the second club of the Energy 2000 brand, which began in 1991 in Przytkowice near Kraków. The club covers 2,500 square metres and holds up to 4,000 people, with three rooms, each with its own music and decor, several bars and a VIP Room Premium. American designers who had worked on Las Vegas casinos shaped the interior, and the 100,000 watt sound system is paired with lasers, LED screens and pyrotechnics. Friday and Saturday nights mix Polish and international DJs with dance, trance, retro, latino and hip hop parties, and recent guests include Westbam, NERVO and Giuseppe Ottaviani.
