About Street Parade
Street Parade returns to Zurich on 14 August 2027 for its 34th edition, taking over the lake basin in the centre of the city under the motto Together we move. It is the largest techno event in the world by attendance and it is free: the 2026 parade drew 900,000 people to watch more than 200 artists play from 26 Love Mobiles and nine stages around the Seebecken.
The format has barely changed since 1992. Decorated trucks carrying soundsystems and DJs move slowly along the lakeside while fixed stages run in parallel, with the Opera Stage opposite the Zurich opera house, the Center Stage and an Innovations Stage on the Limmatquai. ARTE Concert broadcast the main stage sets live from the 2026 edition, and the organisers publish the Love Mobile running order ahead of the day.
The event is run by a non profit association and costs nothing to attend. Visitors can buy a voluntary ticket as a donation, which goes directly into staging the parade, and the organisers run an environmental programme covering waste and cleanup across the route. Zurich main station is a few minutes’ walk from the lake and the city fills completely on the day. It is the free music festival that every other street parade copies.
