Showcation (Darlington, MD, United States) 2027

Showcation returns to Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, Maryland from 21 to 23 May 2027, which the organisers describe as summer camp reimagined for adults. Camp games, music, comedy, pool parties, sports and cabins are all part of the weekend, with the accommodation included rather than camped.

Using a working summer camp is what makes the format possible: the cabins, the pool, the sports fields and the dining hall are already there, so the festival inherits infrastructure that would be impossible to build for three days.

Tickets are sold through the festival’s own ticketing site. Darlington is in Harford County in north east Maryland, around an hour from Baltimore and 90 minutes from both Philadelphia and Washington by road, which puts it inside the north east corridor. Late May in Maryland is warm at around 25 degrees. The organisers publish an aftermovie for each edition. For an American camp style music festival, Showcation is the one.
