About Hi-Tech Revolution
Hi-Tech Revolution runs at the Aldeia Outro Mundo in Lagoinha from 6pm on 22 January to 4pm on 25 January 2027, four days given entirely to hi-tech psytrance. The 2026 edition was the ninth, which makes this one of the longest running events dedicated to the subgenre anywhere.
Hi-tech is the fastest and most technically dense end of psytrance, and the Brazilian scene is among the strongest in the world for it. The festival publishes full sets from its editions, with Tyamat, KiLLATK, Yatzee and the Anginha against Hi-tefy pairing all recorded and online, which is a better guide to the sound than any description.
First tier half price tickets are 250 reais, available either as a solidarity entry on donation of two kilograms of food at the gate or with a student card. Tickets are nominative and require original photo identification. The Aldeia Outro Mundo is a permanent festival village in the Serra da Mantiqueira, two and a half hours north east of Sao Paulo, with accommodation and excursions sold alongside. For a hi-tech psytrance music festival, this is the Brazilian reference.
