About Cortina

Cortina is a club and bar at Rua Araújo 62 in the República area of central São Paulo, with two spaces: a ground floor and a basement dance floor. It describes itself as a place for music, good food, drinks, cinema and above all dancing, and it has recently taken on a new identity as a "bar de ver" (a bar for watching), reopening its ground floor. In September 2026 Cortina celebrated four years in the city centre with an 11-hour party across both floors: Annyl and Millos Kaiser played the ground floor, while Analu, Junior C and Gui Boratto took the basement, with mapped video projections by the VJ Spetto. The club's programme connects established Brazilian electronic artists with the newer generation of house and techno DJs, and tickets are sold through Sympla.
