About Full Moon Festival
Full Moon Festival returns to the Piast Castle in Raciborz on 24 and 25 July 2027, staging an audiovisual electronic event inside a thirteenth century castle complex in Polish Silesia. The organisers build the festival around the interaction between the architecture and the production: LED screens, castle lighting and a Meyer and Panther soundsystem chosen for the acoustics of the courtyard, with visuals handled by BBGROUP.
Musically the bill runs across house, melodic techno, ethnic influenced electronic music and chill, and the organisers deliberately mix formats as well as styles, programming live acts, DJ sets and back to back pairings rather than a straight DJ bill. Alongside the stages the site holds a chill out zone, a food area, barber and tattoo stalls and a yoga programme.
The castle sits next to the Browar Zamkowy, the castle brewery, and beer served on site comes from there, which the organisers treat as part of the local identity of the event along with the municipal water supply they use at the bars. Raciborz lies in the south of Silesian Voivodeship near the Czech border, about an hour from Katowice. Tickets are sold in advance through Biletomat and at physical outlets. It is a castle courtyard music festival with an unusually local character.
