FORMA Festival (Boyds, USA) 2026

FORMA Festival returns on 17 and 18 October 2026 to a farm at 16915 Darnestown Road in Boyds, Maryland, in the countryside north-west of Washington DC. Run by the promoter Heaven Dancing Club, the two-day event goes from midday until 11pm on both days and keeps its attention on techno, with more than 25 performances across two stages and a programme of visual installations.

The main stage is the Barn, a farm building turned dance floor. Eklektik Elektrik’s TurboSound system returns in a seven-point configuration to fill it, while the smaller Off-Air stage runs alongside. Outside there is shared green space, farm animals and a view over the rolling hills of central Maryland. The organisers pitch it as a music festival with the distractions removed, and they ask guests to keep phones off the dance floor.

Saturday, 17 October: the Barn hosts Adrian Hex b2b STE-VÍ, Ether Pleaser b2b N3URODEGENERATE, Jay York, Lindsey Herbert, Luke Hess, Marteka Fair and Vitalik, with visuals by Goddess Projections. Off-Air features Marie Ann Hedonia, Medanine, Ri Caragol, San Huan and Ultrabillions, with visuals by Fluxxss.

Sunday, 18 October: the Barn welcomes Chris Lock (live), Dustin Zahn, Jade Cao, Lady Starlight (live), Renai, Ron Jackson, Secret Handshake and TonalTheory. Off-Air brings Heather Stebbins, Marteka Fair, Matthew Cha, Middle Village (Jorge Sanders and Constructible) and Stukes, with visuals by Dytrip.

Away from the stages, Jade Cao and Hoppa are curating a record shop pop-up, and a Community Thrift for Gaza stall will run a pay-what-you-want sale for The Sameer Project, with guests invited to donate used clothing. Entry is 18+ with government-issued ID, gates open at 11:30, water is free and no outside food or drink is allowed. Tickets are sold through Shotgun via the official FORMA website.
