Camp Alderwild (Rye, CO, United States) 2027

Camp Alderwild returns to Rye in southern Colorado from 20 to 22 August 2027, running three days of bass and downtempo electronic music in the mountains south west of Pueblo. The festival is small by American standards and works more like a gathering than a production, with the altitude and the forest doing most of the work on atmosphere.

Of The Trees has become closely associated with the event, playing multiple sets across recent editions including a downtempo set at the 2026 festival and a full night two performance in 2025 that has been watched well over 100,000 times. Eazybaked and Cool Customer also played the 2026 edition, which gives a clear sense of the booking: the deeper, heavier end of American bass music rather than festival EDM.

Tickets are sold through The Ticketing, with camping included and releases announced through the festival’s own channels. Rye sits in the Wet Mountains at around 2,000 metres, roughly 40 minutes south west of Pueblo and two hours south of Denver, which is the nearest major airport. The 2027 line up had not been announced at the time of writing. For Colorado bass music away from the Red Rocks circuit, it is the camping music festival with the strongest word of mouth.
