Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival was announced for 10 to 12 August 2026 at La Pinilla in the Sierra de Ayllon, Segovia, timed so that crowds could watch the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026 from the mountains of central Spain. In mid 2026 the organisers confirmed that the festival could not go ahead at La Pinilla, citing venue issues beyond their control.

Ticketholders were given two options: transfer their ticket to Iberia Eclipse Festival or request a full refund. Iberia Eclipse runs from 10 to 14 August 2026 at Riberas de la Cuerda del Pozo in Vinuesa, Soria, around an hour from La Pinilla and on the centreline of totality. It is built around four stages, named Sky, Moon, Sun and Earth, covering techno, house, psytrance, ambient and live sets. Astral Plane is moving its Spanish artists, among them Coyu, Laia, Anso and Pushmann, onto the Iberia Eclipse bill.

For anyone planning around the eclipse, the working event is now Iberia Eclipse rather than the original Astral Plane date at La Pinilla.
