About Upperist

Upperist is a rooftop terrace on top of The Marmara Taksim hotel in Gümüşsuyu, Beyoğlu, with a 360 degree view over Istanbul, from the Historic Peninsula to the Bosphorus and the Asian side. It opens every evening from 6pm to 1am as a viewing terrace and bar, and hosts ticketed sunset-to-night DJ events in house, disco and deep electronic music. Guests have included Todd Terje, Dan Shake, a Toy Tonics Jam, Carl Craig, Jayda G, Palms Trax, Shanti Celeste, Cinthie and Flight Facilities, and on 20 August 2026 Marten Lou played for DG Society with an afterparty running to 3am. Tickets for the DJ events are sold on Bugece, and the terrace has a smoking area.
