About Frankhan Selectist

Frankhan is a music venue in an early 20th century Levantine building by the harbour in Karaköy, Beyoğlu, which once housed merchants and trade representatives. Teğet Mimarlık converted the stone building for Akkanat Holding in 2023, lining the 60 metre long space with wooden acoustic prisms built into the lighting. The venue has two rooms, the Main Room and the smaller Sound Room, with a total capacity of up to 1,000 people, and its programme is curated by Selectist. Nights move between DJ sets and live acts across house, techno, electro, disco and funk, with recent bookings including Kenny Larkin, DJ Seinfeld, Viken Arman, Cesar Merveille and The Egyptian Lover.
