About The Black Box

The Black Box is a two-room club for bass and underground electronic music at 314 East 13th Avenue in Denver's Capitol Hill. The club calls itself Denver's home of the underground: both the main Black Box room and the smaller Lounge run custom-built sound, and the programme leans towards dubstep, drum and bass, UK garage, grime and other bass styles. The owner is Nicole Cacciavillano. Weekly Electronic Tuesdays by Sub.mission stage a DJ battle and showcase, and autumn 2026 dates include Sir Spyro, Numa Crew with Plastician, Villem, Danny Byrd in the Lounge and the Recon 23 year anniversary. The Black Box marks its own 10 year anniversary on 20 and 21 November 2026. Entry is 18+, with a USD 5 door surcharge for guests under 21, and the Basscouch offers VIP seating with bottle service.
