About Nu Spirit Bar

Nu Spirit Bar is a small cellar bar for about 60 people at Medená 16 in Bratislava, where the Nu Spirit brand started in 2001. Nu Spirit presents itself as an underground alternative to the city's increasingly commercial nightlife, and its DJs and live bands play what it calls music with soul, from jazz and hip hop to house and drum and bass. The programme runs four nights a week with regular local DJ nights such as Desperate House Vibes with DJ Kinet, Disco Duck, Relief with Vacho and Hans Clou, Groove District and God Save the Vinyl, plus live jazz. On 16 October 2026 the Leporelo night marks 25 years of club events. The bar opens Wednesday and Thursday from 19:00 to 00:00 and Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 03:00.
