Wildlands describes itself as Australia’s premier New Year dance music festival, a day event that runs in two cities over the holiday week. For the 2026/27 season the Brisbane leg takes place at Brisbane Showgrounds on 31 December 2026, and the Perth leg follows at Arena Joondalup on 2 January 2027 with the same lineup. The bill is led by John Summit and Skepta, with WORSHIP, KI/KI, Disco Lines, Ewan McVicar, Funk Tribu, Hannah Laing, Nia Archives, Overmono, Anetha, SPFDJ, Layton Giordani, Frost Children, Hamdi, Lens, MPH, Oppidan and a group of local Western Australian names. Tickets are sold through DICE, the official ticketing partner. The first and second general admission releases have sold out, and at the time of writing the third release is listed at 214.99 AUD and the fourth at 234.99 AUD, both plus booking fees. The event is 18 and over, and Tixel is the official resale platform.
The official site lists four stages. The Sahara Stage is the main arena for the biggest sets, the Summit Stage is pitched at house, techno and live electronic acts, The Wilds is an in the round space with no barriers, and The Portal is given over to the local scene. Add a VIP option and hotel packages with The Adnate Perth, and this techno festival is a compact way to start 2027.
