About Reveillon Carneiros 2026/27
Reveillon Carneiros runs at Tamandare in Pernambuco from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, a week long New Year festival on the Praia dos Carneiros, one of the most photographed beaches in Brazil. The festival has run since 2017 and books at a scale few New Year events anywhere can match.
The 2026 and 2027 line up carries more than 80 names. Black Coffee, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Kerri Chandler and Monolink lead the electronic side, with Gilberto Gil and Joao Gomes bringing Brazilian music across generations. That combination of international house and techno with domestic acts is what distinguishes the Brazilian New Year circuit from anywhere else.
Tickets are sold through Ingresse. The festival publishes recordings from its stages, including a Jackson back to back with Aline Rocha set and Bhaskar’s appearance, alongside a Luau night celebration format. Recife is around two hours north of Tamandare by road and connects directly to Lisbon and across Brazil. Late December in Pernambuco is hot with the tail of the rainy season. For a Brazilian New Year music festival, Carneiros has the biggest bill.
