About

As Brussels prepares to once again become a focal point for Europe’s techno movement, Rave Rebels returns in 2026 with its XXL Weekender format, taking over the massive ING Arena at Brussels Expo on April 3–4, 2026, for two consecutive nights of high-intensity electronic music. Running from evening into early morning hours across both days, the festival continues its evolution as one of Belgium’s largest indoor techno experiences, combining marathon set durations with a scale designed for thousands of ravers inside one unified space.

Positioned at the heart of Belgium’s deeply rooted electronic scene, Rave Rebels has built its reputation through consistently hosting globally respected techno artists and standout performances. Previous editions have featured names such as Solomun, Paul Kalkbrenner, Reinier Zonneveld, Kobosil, and Joris Voorn, alongside exclusive back-to-back sets and rare performances that elevate each edition beyond a standard lineup structure. The 2026 edition continues this trajectory, focusing on artists who deliver driving, hypnotic, and large-scale techno sets tailored for extended indoor environments.

Inside the ING Arena, the event is engineered as a full-scale audiovisual environment, with multiple rooms including the main arena and faster, more intense side stages that explore harder techno territories. Known for delivering what is often described as Belgium’s largest indoor light show, the production combines synchronized lighting, high-powered sound systems, and immersive visual design to create a fully enclosed rave atmosphere where every drop is amplified both physically and visually.

What truly defines Rave Rebels is its balance between accessibility and intensity, offering a large-scale production while maintaining a strong connection to underground culture. With extended set times, carefully curated programming, and a crowd driven by pure dancefloor energy, the event transforms Brussels into a temporary epicenter of techno. Rave Rebels 2026 stands not just as another festival date, but as a concentrated, two-night experience built around endurance, sound, and the collective spirit of the rave.
