About Ostend Beach Festival
Ostend Beach Festival returns to the Klein Strand in Ostend from 9 to 11 July 2027, running three days of techno, house and experimental electronic music on the Belgian coast. Super early bird tickets are already on sale, and the organisers released a loyal sale for returning visitors before the general allocation opened.
The festival started in 2010 as a single beach party and has since grown into a multi day event spread across five stages, with the sea on one side and the city on the other. The booking policy crosses genres rather than sticking to a single sound, and the organisers pair the music programme with sustainability work and a run of events that tie into the wider cultural calendar of Ostend.
Ostend is one of the easiest festival cities to reach in Belgium. Trains run direct from Brussels in about 75 minutes and from Ghent in under an hour, with the beach a short walk from the station, so most visitors skip camping and stay in town. The 2027 line-up has not been announced. Anyone comparing a city based music festival with a field site will find this one sits firmly in the first category.
