Open’er is the largest and most varied festival in Poland, built on a bill that moves between hip hop, rock, pop and electronic music rather than specialising. The airfield site allows a main stage with a very wide front of house and several tent stages, and camping sits alongside the arena so the festival functions as a self contained town for the four days.
Tickets are sold through opener.pl, with festival passes and day tickets both available alongside camping options. The electronic programme is announced later in the cycle than the headline names, so the full bill for this music festival is usually clear in the spring. Gdynia sits next to Gdansk, which has an international airport and rail connections to Warsaw, and the SKM commuter line links the city with the site.
