About Mint Festival
Mint Festival returns to Newsam Green Farm outside Leeds on 1 and 2 May 2027, two days on the May bank holiday weekend. The festival has been one of the fixtures of the northern English calendar since the mid 2010s, promoted by the team behind Goodgreef.
The bank holiday Sunday and Monday pairing is what makes the weekend work: a Sunday festival that does not cost anyone a working day, which has become the standard British solution for early May. Newsam Green Farm is a working farm site east of the city used specifically for events of this size.
Tickets are sold through See Tickets. Leeds is two hours fifteen from London on the direct train and the farm site is 20 minutes from the city centre, with Leeds Bradford Airport 40 minutes away. Early May in West Yorkshire is cool at around 14 degrees with long evenings. For a northern English music festival that opens the outdoor season, Mint is the one.
