Meidum Festival (Robertson, South Africa) 2026

Meidum returns to Robertson in the Western Cape from 27 to 29 November 2026 under the title A Mountain Oasis. The festival is built on the relationship between its setting and its structures: a site in the Breede River Valley with the Langeberg mountains behind it, and a set of large scale built stages that the organisers treat as architecture rather than scaffolding.

The Pyramid Stage is the centrepiece, and the festival publishes full set recordings from it, with Mishell and Dor Danino among the artists captured at the 2025 edition. The programming sits in the melodic and progressive end of electronic music, which suits a site where the view is part of the experience.

Tickets are sold through Howler. Robertson is around 90 minutes east of Cape Town on the R62 and N1, in the middle of a wine region with accommodation in the town and on the surrounding farms. Late November in the Breede Valley means hot, dry days and cool nights, with the mountains visible from everywhere on site. For a South African music festival that takes its production design seriously, Meidum is the one.
