Lighthouse Festival (Tar, Croatia) 2027

Lighthouse Festival heads back to the Lanterna peninsula on Croatia’s Istrian coast from 26 to 30 May 2027, and the organisers have confirmed it will be the last edition there. Running under the title “Lights Out”, the 2027 event closes a chapter that has lasted 15 years, with the team promising an extended and emotional final run. Ticket sales open on 1 October 2026 at 18:00.

For the festival the organisers take over the whole peninsula near Tar and Poreč, a pine covered stretch of coast with its own beaches, pools, restaurants and shops. Guests book packages that combine the festival ticket with on site apartments or camping, which gives this music festival the feel of a small town given over to music for five days. The Lighthouse brand also runs Grand Lighthouse in Bad Gastein, Austria, and the Zanzibar Gathering in Tanzania.

The site is split into several floors. The Mainstage focuses on lighting and stage installations, the Beachfloor sits right by the water, and Trockenraum is an indoor club of raw concrete and low ceilings turned into a dedicated techno room with a Boris sound system. The Villa hosts the annual dress up party on Saturday, the Zodiak area reopens a cluster of small clubs, and the Ambiance floor on the northern shore is given over to ambient music and live performances. Boat parties hosted by DJs and crews are booked separately in the weeks before the event.

The 2027 line-up has not been announced yet. The site address is Lanterna 2 in Tar, and the nearest airport is Pula, around 50 minutes away by road, with Trieste and Venice as alternatives. Chartered buses from Vienna and Graz run when at least 40 people sign up, departing the day before the festival starts.
