Gaia Beats Festival (Mae On (Chiang Mai), Thailand) 2027

Gaia Beats runs at the Sense Hot Spring Wellness and Spa in Mae On from 22 to 24 January 2027, three days in the hills east of Chiang Mai built around natural hot springs. The combination of a festival site and thermal pools is genuinely unusual and it shapes how the weekend works.

The programming is deliberately wide: house, techno, drum and bass, dub, psytrance, world sounds and live music across multiple stages. Previous editions have carried bass sets from Inoxia and reggae from the Bangkok Reggae Massive, which gives a sense of how far the booking reaches beyond electronic music alone.

Tickets are sold through Ticketmelon. Mae On is around 45 minutes east of Chiang Mai by road, in the hills towards the Mae Kampong waterfall, and Chiang Mai International is served directly from Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and several Chinese cities. Late January in northern Thailand is the end of the cool season, which means warm days and genuinely cold nights in the hills.
