Ekko Festival (Bergen, Norway) 2026

Ekko Festival returns to Bergen from 29 October to 1 November 2026 for its twenty third edition, four days of electronic and sound art across venues in the Norwegian west coast city. The festival is run by Ostre, Bergen’s house for sound art and electronic music, and spreads out from there into the Cornerteateret, Lydgalleriet, Bodega, the Gamle Brannstasjon, the cathedral and even the Bergen Katedralskole.

The 2026 programme is unusually deep. Lorenzo Senni, Legowelt presenting Zorlok Compressor, Roza Terenzi, Polygonia, Alif Hilal formerly known as Lyra Pramuk, Carmen Villain with Memoria, Lucy Railton, Suzan Peeters, Ex-Easter Island Head, the Abdullah Miniawy Trio, KMRU collaborator Heith with Tarawangsawelas and Maria Chavez all appear, alongside Norwegian commissions including Pauline Hogstrand and Ingri Hoyland’s Passat. Chavez also runs an abstract turntablism workshop, and a Disk Mart record fair runs alongside.

Tickets go through TicketCo. A full festival pass is 1,300 Norwegian kroner, with day passes at 250 for the Thursday, 450 for the Friday and Saturday and 350 for the Sunday. The age limit is 18, with arrangements available for younger attendees accompanied by a guardian. Bergen has direct flights from across northern Europe and the venues sit within walking distance of each other. It is the Norwegian music festival for sound art.
