Dreaming Festival (Medellin, Colombia) 2027

Dreaming Festival returns to Medellin on 25 and 26 June 2027, the Colombian city’s main techno weekender and one of the clearest statements of how far the scene has travelled in the Aburra valley. The event is built around a Detroit and Berlin facing booking policy rather than the festival circuit mainstream, and it has become the anchor date for a wider run of parties across the city.

Recent editions have carried Robert Hood, Kevin Saunderson, Floorplan, Ben Klock, DVS1, Speedy J, Dax J, Reeko, Lewis Fautzi, Setaoc Mass, SHDW, Marron and Anne among others, with a Sirius stage used for the deeper and more experimental end of the programme. The organisers also run Medetroit, a companion event that leans directly on the Detroit connection, and both share the same production team.

Medellin itself is part of the draw. The city sits at 1,500 metres in a valley in the Andes with a steady climate through the year, and the festival weekend normally spills into after parties and club dates around El Poblado and the city centre. Previous editions have been staged at Parque Norte on Carrera 53; the 2027 site and lineup had not been confirmed at the time of writing. Tickets are handled through Ticketmaster Colombia.
