About Abode on the Snow
Abode on the Snow returns to Borovets from 13 to 20 March 2027, a full week pairing a Bulgarian ski holiday with the Abode Records programme. The week is sold as a package rather than a ticket, with accommodation, lift pass and events booked together through the organisers.
Borovets is the reason the economics work. Bulgaria’s oldest ski resort sits at 1,350 metres on the northern slopes of the Rila mountains, and a week there costs a fraction of the Alpine equivalent, which is how Abode has built a returning crowd for a seven night format.
Abode Records publish an official aftermovie for each edition, with films from 2023 and 2024 online. Borovets is around 70 kilometres from Sofia, roughly an hour by road, and Sofia Airport is served by budget carriers from across Europe.
