About Mezzanine

Mezzanine is an art space in Podil, Kyiv, on the third floor of a former ribbon-weaving factory at Nyzhnoiurkivska Street 31. It was founded at the end of 2013 by the former founders of AZH promo and Start studio, marks its birthday with a party every late December, and hosts concerts, club nights, lectures and talks. A large balcony terrace is used for summer events, including the club's own Bal Under The Trees parties. The stage has hosted Ukrainian and international acts such as TOY, Blockhead, Yppah, Föllakzoid and She Past Away. In autumn 2026 the programme includes ÓПІК w/ CLOSER on 3 October, billed as 31 electronic and alternative artists on four stages. The bar takes cards, and the venue publishes its own rules for visits during air-raid alerts.
