About Honeycomb Hi-Fi

Honeycomb Hi-Fi is a vinyl listening bar and late-night music room behind an unmarked door on Level 2 of the Pullman Dubai Downtown hotel in Business Bay. Inspired by the listening bars of Tokyo, it plays records only, through a custom Ojas sound system that Devon Turnbull built from spiral oak. DJs play every night, with in-house selectors and visiting guests moving between jazz, downtempo, Afrobeat and house, and the room has hosted parties such as the Boogie Box house and techno night. Sunday to Thursday lean towards listening sessions, while on Fridays and Saturdays the volume goes up and the space works as a small club. The kitchen, led by Yardbird chef Matt Abergel, serves izakaya-style plates, with a vinyl shop and rotating art shows alongside.
