About Bonbonniere

Bonbonniere is a nightclub on the hotel strip of Tulum, at Boca Paila km 4 in the Zona Hotelera, between beach bars, restaurants and hotels. DJ Mag describes it as the only nightclub proper on the strip, with space for 800 people split into a terrace, a speakeasy, a VIP area and the main dancefloor. A retractable roof opens the room to the sky, and the building was designed by the architect Filipao Nunes with low environmental impact in mind. The sound system is by Funktion-One. The music is house, techno and EDM, with guests named by DJ Mag including Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Claptone, Joseph Capriati, Michael Bibi, Kölsch and Carlita. The club runs Thursday to Saturday from 22:00 and has a sister venue of the same name in Marbella.
